Ella Tamagno scored off a pass from Abby Balog in the first half and goalkeeper Mia Petracca made 15 saves to help that tally stand up as the Spartans beat Voorhees, 1-0, on Tuesday night.
Steinert (1-0) is next in action on Friday against township rival Nottingham at Klockner Road.
