Jacob Wilson scratched from A’s lineup against Royals with shoulder soreness

KANSAS CITY — Athletics shortstop Jacob Wilson was scratched from Monday’s lineup due to shoulder soreness as the A’s opened a four-game series against the Royals.

It has been a difficult last few days for Wilson, who exited last Friday’s game after being hit on the left pinkie finger. Wilson sat out the next game against the Rangers, but returned on Sunday.
