Chase Burns starts vs. Cardinals August 19

CINCINNATI — Reds All-Star and burgeoning ace Chase Burns was not immune to the lack of run support that has plagued his rotation mates lately as he made his latest start on Wednesday.

Facing the Cardinals, Burns did not have an easy time of it as he threw 104 pitches over five innings. He allowed two runs on six hits and two walks with eight strikeouts and exited trailing two runs.
