PITTSBURGH — Mets rookie outfielder Carson Benge was out of the lineup Saturday night against the Pirates with a jammed left wrist he sustained on Friday.

Benge said Saturday that he could return as soon as Sunday, when the Mets and Pirates conclude their three-game series at PNC Park. X-rays and imaging were negative.
