Matt Olson ties Stan Musial with 895th consecutive game played

ATLANTA — Matt Olson has played more consecutive games than all but seven players in Major League history.

Olson moved into a tie for eighth place with Hall of Famer Stan Musial when he played in his 895th consecutive game on Tuesday night against the Marlins. The Braves’ first baseman began his streak while playing for the A’s on May 2, 2021.
