Last week, Sunny Mehta and the New Jersey Devils made a fairly big free agency splash. Desperate for a top six winger, the team signed Anthony Mantha to a two-year, $4.75M AAV contract. Coming off a career year with 33 goals and 64 points, the hope is that Mantha can be the top scoring winger that Jack Hughes hasn’t had since Tyler Toffoli was traded during the 2023-24 season.
