Samuel Basallo leaves game with right shoulder discomfort injury

HOUSTON — Orioles catcher Samuel Basallo left Sunday’s game at Daikin Park with right shoulder discomfort after grimacing during a second-inning at-bat.

Facing Astros right-hander Hunter Brown leading off the second, the left-handed-hitting Basallo hit a grounder to first, then tucked his right arm next to his body, wearing a pained expression as he ran out of the batter’s box.
