Cousin’s Burger Soft Opening this Week in Hackensack
A fast-growing smash burger brand that’s built a massive following in Philadelphia is officially making its North Jersey debut this week.
Cousin’s Burger will hold a soft opening on Friday, June 20, at its new Hackensack location on Main Street.
Founded by Shahezad Contractor, Cousin’s Burger has become one of the Philadelphia area’s fastest-growing burger concepts, earning attention for its halal-certified smash burgers made with USDA Prime beef.
The company has expanded throughout Pennsylvania, Delaware, and South Jersey, with Hackensack marking its first location in Bergen County.
The menu focuses on smashed-to-order burgers with crispy edges and melted cheese, alongside loaded fries and other comfort-food favorites.
According to the company, doors will open at 11 a.m. for the soft opening.
Cousin’s Burger describes itself as Philadelphia’s “first and original smashburger” concept and has grown rapidly in recent years, amassing more than 50,000 followers across social media while opening locations across the region.
