NJ.com has shared their picks for New Jersey’s 25 best hidden restaurants and how to find them, 2026 edition (Read Story).

They went looking for “Garden State’s hidden culinary wonders”, places that are literally not easy to find.

For Bergen County there were two places that made the cut.

Thumbody in Paramus (Website), located in an office building and it “part record shop and part cafe”.

Sushi by Sea in Ridgefield (Website), the omakase speakeasy that’s “enigmatic” and reservations only “by invite or referral”.
