Wendy’s will mark the grand reopening of an updated restaurant in South Jersey by giving away a year’s worth of food.
Located at 6041 Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Township, the fast-food chain plans to officially celebrate with a Nov. 8 event.
As part of the festivities, the first 100 guests lined up for the 10:30 a.m. opening will receive a card to redeem one free sandwich, salad or breakfast item per week for one year, according to franchisee Flynn Group LP.
The offer is valid only at the Egg Harbor Township outpost. It cannot be combined with any other coupons, promotions or discounts. Winners must be 16 or older, Flynn noted.
While the interior closed to customers in mid-August for construction, a spokesperson said the drive-thru window remained open. The entire location reopened Oct. 17. It now operates open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 2 a.m.
Following the remodel, the 3,490-square-foot eatery features a fresh, modern design that includes open, bright dining areas with multiple seating options, as well as a Coca-Cola Freestyle beverage dispenser. The addition allows customers to customize drink choices.

“The updated design creates a more modern and inviting space where our guests can enjoy their favorite meals in comfort. We’re excited for the community to experience the enhancements and continue to enjoy the great food and service that Wendy’s is known for,” he said.
Flynn projects the renovated restaurant will add 45 jobs to the local economy. Available positions include crew members, shift leaders, assistant managers and general managers.
Of the 145 Wendy’s locations across New Jersey, Flynn runs about five dozen sites. That also includes recently renovated Wendy’s restaurants in nearby Somers Point and Manahawkin.
