Caden Schweigart scored two quick goals as Southern jumped on top on the way to a 6-0 win over host Hammonton.
Michael King added a goal to give the Southern a 3-0 halftime lead as the Rams (11-6-2) extended their unbeaten streak to four games (3-0-1).
Brody Nacarlo had a goal and three assists for Southern. Juan Victoria and Nick Leiriao also added goals.
Hammonton (5-11-1) started the season with 10 straight losses, but was 5-1 in its six prior games and had won its last two.
