The National Weather Service released a frost advisory at 1:44 a.m. on Friday valid from 11 p.m. until Saturday 9 a.m. for Passaic County.
The weather service adds to be ready for, “Temperatures as low as 33 degrees will result in frost formation.”
“Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered,” explains the weather service. “Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.”
