Senator Cory Booker has no declared opponents yet ahead of his Senate re-election campaign in 2026, but that hasn’t stopped him from stockpiling more than $21 million a year out from Election Day.
Booker raised $2,825,285 during the 3rd quarter of 2025, $400,000 of which was transferred from his affiliated Booker Victory Fund, and ended the quarter with $21,288,776 on-hand.
“Senator Booker continues to focus like a laser beam on Democrats taking back control of the Senate,” said Mo Butler, Booker’s top strategist. “Another strong fundraising quarter is just another example of momentum being on our side.”
The senator has long been a strong fundraiser, but earlier this year, his 25-hour marathon Senate speech catapulted him to new levels of prominence, and small-dollar donations quickly followed. Booker raised a mammoth $10 million during the 2nd quarter, nearly doubling his campaign warchest.
It’s unlikely Booker will need all that money for his own re-election campaign, in which he starts out as the heavy favorite. But as Butler has repeatedly pointed out, some of the money could instead go towards helping Democrats in other, tougher races around the country flip control of the House and Senate; Booker is currently in Senate leadership, holding the Democratic caucus’s #4 position.
And as Booker knows well from his 2020 campaign for president, the money could also eventually go towards runs for other offices. In 2019, Booker transferred several million dollars directly from his Senate account to his presidential account; if Booker decides to make another go at the presidency in 2028 or beyond, a huge campaign warchest can only help.
