Ahead, discover travel deals for food, transportation, hotels, and activities across the region this September.

Transportation

Get one-way flights for travel between Sept. 13 and Dec. 17 for as low as $59 on JetBlue through Sept. 4.

Save money on airfare over the next two years with Frontier Airlines with a limited-time half-off deal on its GoWild! All-You-Can-Fly Annual Pass through Sept. 5, selling for $299 (regular price is $599). The pass, which will be for sale at a higher price at a later date, is good for flights through 2027 and blackout dates apply.

Snag one-way flights for travel between Sept. 23 and March 4, 2026 for as low as $49 on Southwest through Sept. 5.

Save up to 30% off regularly priced coach fares between Sept. 3-6 with Amtrak‘s Northeast September Sale on trips taking place between Sept. 8-30.

Thanks to a partnership between the MBTA and the city of Boston, bus service on routes 23, 28, and 29 is fare free through Feb. 28, 2026. The routes travel through Roxbury and Dorchester, connecting riders to Ruggles, Jackson Square, Mattapan, and Ashmont.

Restaurants

Sugar Factory Boston has weekday lunch specials available until 3 p.m. for $14.99 that include the Sugar Factory burger, personal pepperoni pizza, Baja fish tacos, Caesar salad with grilled chicken, and turkey club sandwich.

Parents and caregivers can get a free kids meal with the purchase of an adult meal the day after the Red Sox win at any Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub.

Mama Mias Pinehills in Plymouth offers several discounts weekly, including 10% off meals for seniors on Mondays and veterans on Wednesdays and a $45 dinner for two special on Tuesdays for dine-in only.

In honor of football season, patrons who wear their college football jersey to Chipotle on Sept. 15 after 5 p.m. can snag a buy one get one free (BOGO) entree special. The deal applies for dine-in only.

Hotels

Do you have a college kid in Boston? Revere Hotel Boston Common is offering a special university/college rate for families. Guests who book by Sept. 30 with the promo code COLLEGE will enjoy 20% off retail rates and a waived $35 daily guest amenity fee on stays by Nov. 1.

Travelers can get 20% off stays at The Wanderer in Kennebunk, Maine between Sept. 1 and Oct. 25 when booking a minimum of three nights. Blackout dates and room type restrictions may apply. 

The Wauwinet is offering 20% off stays on Nantucket this fall. The offer is valid for specific “hot dates” based on availability and a minimum stay may be required.

Snag two passes to the Peabody Essex Museum when staying at The Hotel Salem (a $50 savings), plus a locally curated welcome amenity. Rates start at $315 per night and the deal, which began July 29, is available through Dec. 31. Note: the museum is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. 

When travelers stay at The Pell in Middletown, R.I., part of the JdV by Hyatt collection, they’ll get two free tickets to The Breakers, the famous Gilded Age mansion in Newport. The offer code is 78439 and is valid through Jan. 31, 2026. Promotional blackout periods may apply.

Museums / Attractions / Activities

Explore the Boston Athenaeum for free during its annual Community Day open house on Sept. 6. Visitors can enjoy live music by local bands, exhibitions, activities for children, and more.

The Indy Pass includes 43 new resorts this year and current pass holders can receive two shareable codes for the new Learn-To-Turn pass for an additional $40 discount, lowering the price to $149.

Play a game of free miniature golf at USS Constitution Minigolf in the Charlestown Navy Yard. Each of the nine holes features fun facts about the United States Navy. The activity is open daily through the end of October.

Visit a national park for free on Sept. 27, which is National Public Lands Day. The day is one of seven fee-free days at national park sites in 2025.

The Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) in Boston offers free admission every Thursday night from 5 to 9 p.m. Advanced tickets are recommended and become available at 10 a.m. the morning of the visit.
