Opening Alert: 7th Street Burger, Hackensack, NJ
A popular New York City smash burger chain has officially arrived in Bergen County.
7th Street Burger is now open at 370 W. Pleasantview Ave. in Hackensack, taking over a space that has previously housed Juicy Platters, Boardwalk Burgers and other restaurant concepts over the years.
Founded in Manhattan’s East Village, 7th Street Burger has developed a cult following by keeping things simple. The brand is known for its signature smash burgers with crispy edges, melted cheese and soft potato buns, along with fries and a straightforward menu focused on quality ingredients.
The company describes its concept as offering “real flavor with no frills” and serving “great burgers, done right.”
Since launching in New York City, 7th Street Burger has expanded throughout the five boroughs and into neighboring markets. The Hackensack location joins the brand’s growing New Jersey presence, which also includes a restaurant in Hoboken.
For Bergen County burger fans, the opening brings one of New York’s most talked-about smash burger concepts across the Hudson and into the local dining scene.
