STONE HARBOR – The Borough Council has awarded an $846,705 contract for construction of a Jake’s Place playground at its 82nd Street recreational complex.
The contract, approved March 3, went to Fred M. Schiavone Construction of Malaga. Mayor Tim Carney said the borough hopes the new playground will be open by Memorial Day.
