On Friday, Feb.6, 2026, officers responded to a report of a dog on the loose at the 300 block of Rosemont Place. When they arrived, they were told that the dog was attacked by two pit bulls nearby.

According to the police, the officers had the injured dog taken to an animal hospital, where it is expected to survive.
