Christina Zuk will form her own boutique strategic consulting and government affairs firm after more than a decade at Princeton Public Affairs Group.
Her new firm, CZ Strategies, will offer advisory services to businesses and associations seeking to navigate the complexities of public policy, regulatory challenges, and stakeholder engagements in state government.
“CZ Strategies was created to deliver thoughtful, client-centered solutions grounded in experience, relationships, and trust,” Zuk said. “The mission is to help organizations advance their priorities with clarity, integrity, and impact. I’m excited to build something that reflects my values and commitment to effective advocacy.”
Zuk enjoys a particularly close relationship with many individuals holding significant positions in Gov.-elect Mikie Sherrill’s incoming administration and with key members of the New Jersey Legislature.
She entered the government affairs business after serving as director of legislative and political affairs at JNESO, a health care union that represented over 5,000 nurses and medical technicians. She also held staff posts in the New Jersey State Senate, and on statewide political campaigns. Zuk is the board president of 180 Turning Lives Around, a domestic violence prevention group that Murphy once chaired.
One of her longtime clients, Miriam Butler, the CEO of the National Electrical Contractors Association, Northern New Jersey Chapter, said that Zuk “brings unmatched institutional knowledge, strategic insight, and a deep understanding of how to move issues forward, paired with strong relationships across government and industry.”
“CZ Strategies is a natural next step for Christina, and I have no doubt it will be a tremendous success,” Butler stated.
Doug Placa, who has worked with Zuk for more than a decade at JNESCO, said she will continue to serve as “a trusted advisor and advocate for our organization.”
“Her ability to anticipate challenges, build strong coalitions, and deliver results has made a real impact for our members,” said Placa. “I’m excited to see her launch CZ Strategies.”
