Former Rep. Tom Malinowski is out with his second ad of the 11th congressional district special election, a spot that focuses on what he says is a culture of corruption in Washington.
Malinowski’s campaign said that the ad – which calls out President Donald Trump, insurance and tech companies, and “the billionaires screwing working people” – is part of a six-figure investment on digital platforms and will run on connected TV, YouTube, Meta, and other online platforms.
In December, Malinowski launched his first ad, which emphasized his efforts to fight Trump during his prior stint in Congress. And since the former congressman had raised more than $1 million as of last week, he’s well-positioned to get his face on the airwaves quite a bit in advance of the February 5 Democratic primary to replace Gov.-elect Mikie Sherrill.
Script
Malinowski: “Donald Trump is trashing our democracy, and he wants to get richer doing it. I’ll take on his crypto corruption where foreign interests buy favors and he profits. But it’s not just Trump. I’ll take on the billionaires screwing working people, the insurance companies denying coverage, the big tech companies hurting our kids. I can do this because I refuse to take corporate PAC money. I only answer to you.”
