Eyeglass retailer Warby Parker is preparing to launch a shop in downtown Ridgewood.
Scheduled to open Nov. 29 at 65 E. Ridgewood Ave., the outpost will offer an assortment of budget-friendly prescription eyeglasses, sunglasses and contact lenses, as well as eye examinations for patients ages 4 and up.
To celebrate its arrival in Ridgewood, Warby Parker will give opening-day customers a complimentary tote bag with purchase.
The store will also give shoppers 15% off when they buy two or more pairs of prescription eyeglasses or sunglasses as part of the chain’s “Add a Pair and Save” promotion. No code is required, according to Warby Parker.
The store will be open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sundays 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Since starting out in 2010 as an online-only venture, the New York City-based brand has grown its brick-and-mortar footprint to more than 300 stores across North America.
