Listen to this articleThe NJx Venture Summit returns in December, bringing a full holiday-themed day of startup pitches, panels and networking to the Montgomery Innovation Hub.
The latest event will convene founders across four sectors – AI, biotech, clean tech and alternative assets – together with venture capital, angel investors and industry leaders. The event aims to highlight ongoing innovation in the Garden State.
The in-person NJx Venture Summit takes place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 3. Additionally, Innovation+, Innovate 100 and Jersey Tech & Innovation founder Jim Barrood will deliver a keynote address.
Barrood has spent more than a quarter decade building, promoting and celebrating New Jersey’s innovation and ecosystem through his advocacy and development work.
Emerging companies will showcase their tech as well as growth potential to a diverse audience. Startups will pitch live on stage and receive direct feedback from investor judges. According to organizers, judges will help evaluate opportunities, ask questions and engage with founders one-on-one.
A limited number of startup presentation slots are available for each tract for the next NJx Venture Summit. The organization encourages interested founders to apply early.

- Investors Venture capitalists, angel investors, family offices, and corporate venture teams looking for vetted deal flow and regional exposure

The latest conference builds on momentum following the July 2025 NJx Venture Summit.
That event drew interest and presentations that exceeded expectations. Ben Jen founded 1435 Capital, which helped organize the summer event. “We were expecting maybe 20-25 companies. We ended up having about 34 companies show up,” Jen noted to NJBIZ over the summer.
1435 Capital is also a tenant at the emergent Montgomery Innovation Hub.
At the December NJx Venture iteration, a themed holiday social will follow the investor panels and pitches. Startups, investors and community members can register here to attend.
