Yard House Planning New Bergen County Location in Paramus
A major national restaurant chain is preparing to add to it’s Bergen County footprint.
Yard House is coming soon to Garden State Plaza in Paramus, calling for a full interior renovation of a currently vacant tenant space to create a full-service restaurant and bar.
According to details, the project will include a complete interior remodel, along with updates to the building’s exterior façade—plus an addition to the building for housing a keg display room, as well as a new open-air seasonal patio at the restaurant’s front entrance.
Founded in California, Yard House has built a national following around its focus on draft beer, New American cuisine, and a lively social atmosphere.
The brand is particularly known for offering one of the largest selections of draft beer in the world, with taps featuring a mix of local craft brews, domestic favorites, and international styles.
The restaurant’s culinary program centers on chef-driven New American dishes that incorporate global flavors, designed to pair with its extensive beer lineup. The company emphasizes careful selection and handling of its beer program, storing kegs at precise temperatures and delivering them to taps through an extensive draft system designed to ensure freshness.
Once completed, the Paramus restaurant would mark Yard House’s second location in Bergen County—the first is in East Rutherford.
An official opening date has not yet been announced.
