RIO GRANDE – The rumors about Jester’s Dive Bar were true: The establishment announced on its Facebook page that it will be closing this weekend.

The bar, located on Route 9 near the Route 47 intersection, posted a notice on Monday, March 9: “Yeah … we heard the rumors. And yeah … we ignored them. But now it’s real: After 4 incredible years, Jester’s is closing.”
