The Gyro Project Readies for Projected Opening in Northvale
The Gyro Project, which offers “authentic Greek street food with a contemporary twist,” is expanding within North Jersey with a new outlet in Northvale — and the team is now readying to open sometime this month (March).
With food “crafted with Greece’s finest and freshest ingredients,” the shop will be located at Northvale Square shopping center, replacing the former Moe’s space.
Founded in New Jersey by restauranteurs George Tenedios and Spiro Kokkosis, this marks another Bergen County location for the brand (joining Fort Lee), along with outposts in Newark and New York City.
Offering what they describe as “a cornerstone of tradition and a culinary escape to the bustling markets of Athens and beyond,” the menu (View Menu) features Greek mezedes, pitas, bowls, salads, entrée platters, rotisserie chicken, sweet and savory Greek bakery items, a full froyo program, and more.
“The Gyro Project is about making the most flavorful Mediterranean food accessible to those looking for a quick lunch or dinner with friends and family,” said George Tenedios, co-owner of The Gyro Project.
With final preparations underway, a March debut is expected.
