New Jersey’s annual North to Shore Festival has announced its summer lineup. From June 13 to June 28, the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) will host musical performances, comedy shows and more, highlighting Jersey artists and global talent alike in Newark as well as at venues in Asbury Park and Freehold.
Among this year’s Newark performers are actor/singer Janelle Monáe (2016’s Hidden Figures; her 2023 album The Age of Pleasure); rock band the Black Crowes (“She Talks to Angels”; “Remedy”); Alison Krauss & Union Station; comedian Iliza Shlesinger; Joe Bonamassa and Jesse & Joy.
Taking the stage in Asbury Park: New Brunswick-born punk band the Bouncing Souls; pop-punk band Yellowcard (“Breathing”; “Ocean Avenue”); multi-instrumentalist Kurt Vile; and Jamaican reggae group Black Uhuru.
In Freehold, guests can expect indie band the Head and the Heart; Sublime (“What I Got”; “Wrong Way”); and Grateful Dead tribute band Dark Star Orchestra.
In a statement, Governor Mikie Sherrill said, “The best way to kick off the summer season is by celebrating New Jersey’s homegrown talent and vibrant arts scene—and that’s exactly what attendees can expect at the 2026 North to Shore Festival.”
Tickets are on sale now.
“With performances by globally recognized stars and groundbreaking local artists, this year’s North to Shore Festival once again demonstrates the incredible artistic range, cultural vitality, and creative energy that define New Jersey,” NJPAC president and CEO John Schreiber said.
