A new concept blending coffee, tea, desserts and curated lifestyle goods is coming soon to Fort Lee.
Sloffy Gallery is preparing to open at 1636 Palisade Avenue, Suite 2, introducing what it describes as a space inspired by “slowness” and Eastern philosophy.
According to its brand materials, the name combines “Slow (-ify)” with “Gallery,” reflecting an intentional pause and a curated environment where coffee, tea, food and objects are presented with the care of an exhibition.
The concept will offer espresso-based drinks, signature lattes and blended teas, along with wagashi-style desserts such as Yokan in flavors including chestnut, cranberry, chocolate and yuzu.
Teas will be directly sourced from South Korea, while ceramics and tableware will also be sourced from South Korean makers. The Yokan desserts will come from a US-based Japanese patissier, and coffee will be exclusively roasted by the brand’s director.
Beyond beverages and desserts, Sloffy Gallery plans to retail lifestyle goods including ceramics, tableware, coffee beans, matcha and blended teas.
The interior, as shown in preview renderings, features a minimalist design with bar seating and a curated retail display, reinforcing the gallery-style atmosphere.
An official opening date has not yet been announced.
