Hey Tea is Coming Soon to Paramus
Global tea sensation HeyTea is preparing to expand its Bergen County footprint with a new location at 1 Garden State Plaza in Paramus, bringing its trendsetting drinks and signature cheese foam creations to one of New Jersey’s busiest shopping destinations.
The brand first launched in Jiangmen, Guangdong in 2012, quickly gaining a devoted following for its fresh tea blends and innovative approach to milk tea culture.
By 2015, HeyTea had expanded across major Chinese cities including Guangzhou and Shenzhen, and a year later secured major investment that fueled rapid national growth.
International expansion followed soon after, with HeyTea entering Hong Kong and Singapore, with the company making its U.S. debut (NYC) in 2023.
By early 2025 had grown to 15 American locations, including shops in California’s Beverly Hills, Irvine, San Jose, Daly City, and San Diego.
Bergen County fans may already recognize the brand from its American Dream Mall outpost in East Rutherford, but the Paramus opening will bring its modern aesthetic and cult-favorite drinks to an even wider audience.
Known for premium fruit teas, creamy milk teas, and that iconic cheese foam topping, HeyTea has helped redefine what a tea shop can be—part beverage bar, part lifestyle brand, and full-on social media magnet.
No official opening date has been announced yet, but signage is up and anticipation is brewing.
