The county commissioners have awarded a roadwork contract that would significantly advance Wildwood Crest’s long-planned makeover of its business district.
The $12.9 million contract is for reconfiguring and other work on New Jersey Avenue between Cresse Avenue and Rambler Road. The project is expected to begin this fall and be completed in spring 2028.
