Asu Mare Peru Restobar has officially opened at 430 Market Street in Elmwood Park, bringing what it calls “New Jersey’s Peruvian Hotspot” to Bergen County.
The restaurant invites guests to enjoy “a taste of Peru, as you’ve never had before,” with a menu that spans traditional dishes, vibrant cocktails, and modern interpretations of classic Peruvian flavors.
According to their website, the concept blends heritage and nightlife energy, offering “fresh ceviche and sizzling lomo saltado to handcrafted cocktails inspired by Lima’s nightlife,” all served in a lively, social setting.
It also shares thas the kitchen is built on “authentic recipes crafted to honor Peru’s rich culinary traditions,” highlighting family-inspired cooking paired with contemporary presentation.
Asu Mare Peru Restobar aims to be a destination for casual lunches, celebratory dinners, and late-night gatherings where “every taste tells a story of heritage and flavor,” and the restaurant is currently open six days a week, closed Tuesdays.
