Some days, you might just see Pamela Anderson taking a stroll in a local park.
For the people of Westfield, that day was Wednesday, January 28. Anderson, wearing a blue puffer coat, blue turtleneck and jeans and sporting tousled curls in her signature platinum blond, was in town for the upcoming movie Somedays. She filmed scenes at Mindowaskin Park with Oscar winner Billy Bob Thornton.
The actors walked and talked near a gazebo and sat on a park bench in wintry scenes set against the remainder of the January 25 snowfall that dropped almost a foot on Westfield.
In other scenes filmed in the town, Thornton, 70, who plays a delivery driver in the movie, wore a red, yellow and black DHL jacket and hat. He held packages and stood at the doorstep of a local home adjacent to the park.

Anderson, 58, was most recently seen in Akiva Schaffer’s box-office success The Naked Gun last year with Liam Neeson. In 2024 and 2025, she was nominated for a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award (now called the Actor Award) for her performance in Gia Coppola’s The Last Showgirl.
Thornton, who won an Oscar in 1997 for the Sling Blade screenplay, currently stars in the Paramount+ series Landman, which was renewed for a third season in December.
Brian Klugman (Baby, Baby, Baby), grandnephew of Emmy-winning actor Jack Klugman (The Odd Couple), is directing and wrote Somedays, which also stars 18-year-old actor Ariana Greenblatt (Barbie, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t).

Per Deadline, Thornton’s character in the movie is facing down death, and is expected to live just a few more months. In the twilight of his life, he makes a special connection with a teen (Greenblatt).
Thornton also filmed scenes for the movie last week on Prospect Street in Westfield and with Greenblatt on Miln Street and North Union Avenue in Cranford.
