Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls is Coming to Ridgewood
Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls is coming soon to Ridgewood, bringing the Maine-inspired seafood concept to Bergen County for the first time.
The upcoming shop is planned for 111 E Ridgewood Avenue, adding a new option for lobster roll fans in downtown Ridgewood.
Mason’s currently has a New Jersey location in Long Branch, and the Ridgewood opening will mark its first outpost in Bergen County.
According to the brand, “Our lobster comes straight from the waters of Maine, and we prepare each roll according to the simple, honest traditions of the people who live there.”
The restaurant says its rolls are made “with no bells, no whistles, and no pretention,” served with “only the basics: Lemon. Butter. Mayo. Maybe a little celery.”
Mason’s was founded by Dan Beck, who the company says “has been a lobster aficionado for more than 20 years” and opened the first location in Annapolis, Maryland in 2014.
