There are more than 500 master-planned communities in the U.S., ranging from small, tight-knit neighborhoods to ones with thousands of residents and multiple ZIP codes.
The John Burns Research and Consulting team recently released its annual Top 50 Master-Planned Communities list with a well-known Florida community topping the list.
