Changes proposed for parking behind municipal building – Star News Group

AVON-BY-THE-SEA — The downtown committee shared an update at the Jan. 12 board of commissioners meeting about plans to adjust parking behind the municipal building. 

The commissioners introduced an ordinance intended to help manage the overflow of summer parking in the lot behind the municipal building. The changes will set aside spots for the police and fire departments, move handicap spaces closer to the rear entrance, and update signage to indicate 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, for the remaining spaces.
