Micah Gordon led Plainfield, No. 1 in the NJ.com Top 20, with 23 points, three rebounds and four blocks in its 76-39 victory against Woodbury in the Stay Public Basketball Showcase in Plainfield.
Devin Thomas scored 10 points to lead all scorers in the first quarter as Plainfield (10-1) led 28-18. Gordon, Rashawn Williams and Tylor Hunter each had five points in the first.
Plainfield forced 10 turnovers from Woodbury in the second quarter as Kamal Lowery led the charge with 10 points in the quarter. Gordon added nine points as Plainfield extended its lead to 56-23.
Devin Thomas scored 15 points for Plainfield with three assists and three steals. Lowery totaled 12 points with five rebounds. Williams tallied nine points, six rebounds, four assistnsand three steals.
Jaden farmer led Woodbury (4-8) with 21 points and three rebounds. Devin Williams had 13 points and three assists.
