ESPN has parted ways with two longtime tennis analysts who each spent more than two decades with the network.
After ESPN announced its broadcast team for the Australian Open, Pam Shriver and Brad Gilbert confirmed their departure.
Shriver spent more than 35 years with ESPN and Gilbert served as a tennis voice for the network for 23 years.
“Thanks for the 35+ amazing years,” Shriver wrote on X. “I recall AO 1990, after an early round loss, working for ESPN for the first time. I was prepared for more, but was told it was time to streamline.”
“Had a great 23 year run,” Gilbert wrote.
An ESPN spokesperson told Front Office Sports that the network is “grateful to them for their many years of collaboration.” ESPN is still finalizing lineups for Wimbledon and the U.S. Open.
Hosting duties for the Australian Open will be split between Malika Andrews and Katie George.
