Wendy’s is celebrating a newly remodeled restaurant in South Jersey by giving away a year’s worth of food.
Located at 356 Route 72 in Manahawkin, the fast-food chain said it will hold an Oct.25 grand reopening celebration.
As part of the festivities, the first 100 guests lined up for the 10:30 a.m. opening will receive a card to redeem one free sandwich, salad or breakfast item per week for one year, according to franchisee Flynn Group LP.
The offer is valid only at the Manahawkin outpost. It cannot be combined with any other coupons, promotions or discounts. Winners must be 16 or older, Flynn noted.
The 3,465-square-foot eatery reopened Oct. 2. It features a fresh, modern design that includes open, bright dining areas with multiple seating options, as well as a Coca-Cola Freestyle beverage dispenser that allows customers to customize drink choices.
According to Flynn, the renovated restaurant is projected to add 45 jobs to the local economy. Available positions include crew members, shift leaders, assistant managers and general managers.
While the interior closed to customers at the end of July for construction, a spokesperson said the drive-thru window remained open. The entire location is now open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 1 a.m.
