In his final TV ad before Election Day, Republican Jack Ciattarelli says he’ll “play by the rules” if elected governor, criticizing the increase in the cost of living in New Jersey.
Ciattarelli focused on affordability in the 30-second spot, emphasizing himself as a change candidate.
Ciattarelli faces Rep. Mikie Sherrill (D-Montclair) in next month’s gubernatorial election. Early, in-person voting starts Saturday. More than 400,000 New Jerseyans have already voted by mail.
Script:
“I’m Jack Ciattarelli, and New Jersey’s been home to my family for more than 100 years. I love this state, but we need change. Housing, taxes, and electricity bills are crushing the middle class. And while you were paying more for everything, Mikie Sherrill was tripling her net worth in Congress. We need someone who’s honest, with a real plan, someone who gets it. As governor, I’ll fight every day for people who work hard and play by the rules, because that’s what you deserve. Together, I know we can fix New Jersey. It’s time.”
