Wawa is voluntarily recalling some refrigerated milk and lemonade drinks from stores in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware over concerns about a potential foreign object in the bottles.
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the affected products were made at the convenience store chain’s beverage facility in Media, Pa. It did not elaborate further on what the foreign object was.
The 16-ounce plastic bottles involved are:
- Wawa Strawberry Lemonade

- UPC – 007626191018982 (2,750 units)
- Wawa Strawberry Milk
- code date – Oct. 6, 2025
- UPC – 00726191015134 (30 units)
- Wawa Whole Milk
- code date – Oct. 9, 2025
- UPC –00726191014403 (154 units)
According to the FDA, Wawa notified distributors and stores of the issue in a Sept. 23 email.
Categorized as a Class II recall, the incident is considered “a situation in which use of, or exposure to, a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote,” according to the FDA.
