At Modern Line Furniture, giving back is a core part of our mission. This year, we proudly partnered with the ABA Life Center in Florham Park, NJ, an organization dedicated to providing comprehensive services to individuals with autism and their families throughout their lifetime.
Our Giving Back Program has always supported the local community through donations, but this time, we took a unique approach. “When Michele Cooper, Executive Director of ABA Life Center, contacted us with a request, we took action,” says Veronika Lemeshenkova, Sales Manager at Modern Line Furniture.
Together, we created a mock diner and restaurant interior designed to teach life skills that will prepare ABA students for future employment. By learning how to bus tables, wipe down restaurant booths, and maintain dining areas, these young individuals gain meaningful, hands-on experience that can help them thrive in the workforce.
“It is not often in our line of work that we find people in other industries willing to step up and change the lives of others,” says Michele Cooper. Modern Line Furniture provided tables and complete restaurant seating packages to bring the project to life. The result is a warm, functional training environment that not only empowers ABA participants but also strengthens the local community, says Cooper, adding that the project is now running at full speed and thanked Modern Line Furniture for taking quick action.
“We are so excited to continue building this relationship and to support organizations like the ABA Life Center,” adds Lemeshenkova.
