Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (CSG Law) is launching a group focused on legal and professional malpractice defense.
Ronald Israel leads the new team focused on defending attorneys, law firms, their insurers and other professionals in a variety of matters, such as allegations of malpractice, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, aiding & abetting and other tortious conduct before federal courts, state courts and disciplinary review boards, according to the Roseland-based firm.
As part of each engagement, team members partner with other CSG Law practice groups to ensure a proper and thorough examination of the event out of which the claim originated, as well as an understanding of the applicable law. Additionally, the practice assists clients in establishing procedures and protocols to help prevent potential missteps.
CSG Law also provides presentations on legal malpractice updates in the law as well as loss prevention techniques, the firm said.
The firm serves as ethics counsel to law firms or companies seeking advice relating to the Rules of Professional Conduct and its attorneys provide written ethics opinions where appropriate, too.
CSG Law is a one-stop shop providing the best-in-class services to our clients.
